There’s nothing quite like a positive, happy story to put you in a good mood for the day; and the following is guaranteed to leave you smiling from ear to ear.
A video of a three-month-old baby boy hearing for the first time has absolutely charmed the internet.
Jordan Blair, from Australia, was born with hearing loss – later discovered to be hereditary in his mother Taryn’s family.
Jordan has had a rough enough start to life; as well as his hearing issues, he is suffering with a ‘floppy larynx’ and neck stiffness, and also recently battled with rotavirus.
Having spent ‘most of his time screaming and in pain’ over the past three months, it was a completely different scene for little Jordan when he was recently fitted with hearing aids – allowing him to hear for the very first time.
Mum Taryn shared the video of Jordan’s first time hearing to YouTube, and the internet has been left googly-eyed over the results.
In the sweet footage, Jordan can be heard giggling heartily as he hears a toy rattling as well as the happy voices around him.
Sharing the video to her professional photography page, Jordan’s aunt also gushed: “Today he's hearing for the first time in his life! First time he's had a good proper giggle, too! Love this little dude so much.”
