The birth of any baby is worthy of a celebration, but the details of little Miracle Joy Hernando’s arrival into the world are a tad unbelievable.
It was a double celebration for mum-of-four Aimee Hernando recently, after giving birth to daughter Miracle on the same day that she turned 33. However, there was yet another coincidence to the birth date – it was also the same day that Aimee’s own mother turned 56!
Commenting on the amazing story, a mathematician told ABC News that the chances of this triple coincidence happening are one-in-133,225.
The significance of the event isn’t lost on Aimee, who proceeded to share an even more unusual detail of the birth.
“My mum’s birth weight was 6lbs 10oz; mine was 6lbs 9oz, and Miracle’s was 6lbs 8oz. We just thought that was so cool!” said the delighted new mum.
As unique as their story is, similar incidents have occurred around the world. Back in 2011, in the UK, baby Mason Parker arrived into the world with the exact same birthday as his parents, Jacquie and Paul.
Congratulations to the family on the birth of their little one – there’s certainly no excuse for forgetting anyone’s birthday!
