The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a rare public appearance at the European premiere of The Lion King last night and they certainly looked like movie stars.
The new parents walked down the red carpet, hand-in-hand at Leicester Square on Sunday evening. Harry and Meghan greeted fans and smiled for photos before meeting Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z.
Meghan and Beyoncé hugged when they met inside the theatre. It is believed that the actress, who voiced Nala in the Disney live-action movie, called Meghan ‘my princess’ when they embraced.
The Duke and Duchess spoke to the award-winning singer and her husband Jay-Z about parenthood.
The Drunk In Love singer couldn’t help but gush about their son Archie. Beyoncé told the parents, “The baby, so beautiful. We love you guys.”
Harry asked the couple how their twins-two-year-old Rumi and Sir Carter- were, to which Beyoncé replied, “They are not here. They don’t come on every trip. We left them at home. They would have loved to have been here.”
Beyoncé and Jay-Z even shared parenting advice with Harry and Meghan. Jay-Z told the royals, “The best advice I can give you, always find time for yourself.”
