Numerous pedestrians have been injured after a car drove into security barriers outside Parliament.
The Metropolitan Police have arrested the driver of the car.
The incident occurred shortly after 7.30 am this morning.

They stated: “A car was in collision with barriers outside the Houses of Parliament. The male driver of the car was detained by officers at the scene.”
They added: “A number of pedestrians have been injured. Officers remain at the scene. We will issue further info when we have it.”

Officers have not revealed if the incident is terror-related, but counter terror officers are attending the scene of the crash.
