A young boy has tragically passed away following an accident in Co. Derry.
It is believed the 8-year-old was struck by a car near a petrol station on the Glenshane Road, Maghera.
An 8 year old boy has died after being struck by a car on Glenshane Road, Maghera. Occurred close to service station at around 8pm last night. Officers would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have captured dash cam footage. Please call 101.

The incident took place around 8 pm on Thursday, September 20.
The PSNI have appealed for witnesses, especially those who may have dashcam footage.
