Most of us have some olive oil somewhere in the kitchen, so let’s put it to good use! The recipe for a hair oil treatment below is simple and cost effective and can give you great hair results.
What you need:
1 plastic bag that can fit over your hair
½ cup olive oil
5 drops chamomile essential oil, frankincense or lavender
  1. Pour the olive oil into a jar that has a well-fitting lid
  2. Add olive oil or whatever essential oil you choose
  3. Put the lid on the jar and shake vigorously. This will mix the oil around.
  4. Let the oil sit for 24 hours in a cool, dark place.
  5. Wash your hair with warm water.
  6. Shake the oil mixture, and pour 1 tablespoon of the oil treatment in the palms of your hands. Massage it into your scalp with the tips of your fingers using circular motions to massage all over the scalp. Rub the ends of your hair with the remaining oil.
  7. Put a plastic bag over your hair for half an hour, this allows the oil to penetrate
  8. Rinse well, then shampoo, condition, and style as usual.
Other oils worth considering which will restore vitality to your hair are coconut, jojoba oil and Alma hair oil. Alma hair oil is considered one of the best treatments for hair loss and premature graying. It is recommended to consider using the above oils to treat your hair if it’s in need of a pick me up.
