Carrie Underwood confirmed the birth of her second child last night and we couldn’t be happier for the singer.
The doting mum gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Monday, January 21.
She shared the cutest photos of their new arrival on Instagram and revealed his sweet moniker.
The Before He Cheats singer decided to call her baby boy Jacob. She wrote: “Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday.”
The name Jacob is of Hebrew origin and means supplanter. It has surged in popularity in recent years and is currently one of the most popular baby boy names.
Carrie gushed about her newborn: “His mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle!”
The Champion singer continued: “Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good…”
Fans were quick to congratulate Carrie on the new addition to her family. One wrote: “Congratulations. He's just perfect! I wish u both all best.”
Another added: “Such a sweet baby. You are truly blessed.”

Carrie is also a mum to three-year-old son Isaiah. Congratulations again to Carrie and her husband Mike Fisher on the birth of Jacob. He is an absolute cutie pie.
