Take your family to the charity Family Fun Fayre in Ballincollig on Sunday 6th October.

The carnival-style family event organised by Cork accountancy firm O’Connor Pyne & Co. will include bouncy castles, sumo warrior rings, bungee runs, giant jenga and tug-o-wars. There will also be a celebrity ‘Eliminator’ competition, which already includes Rachel Allen, Ronan O’Gara and Pat Spillane as celebrity leaders, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.

The accountancy firm is fundraising for three charities – The Grace Nolan Foundation, St Josephs Foundation and the Donal Walsh memorial fund for Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

“We wanted to mark our 10th anniversary in business in a unique way, and with that in mind we have been fundraising to raise €10,000 for each charity which will go directly to supporting children in need in Ireland,” said Tomas O’Connor, Partner at O’Connor Pyne & Co.

Corporate and family team entries are welcome for the ‘Eliminator’ competition and each team will be led by a celebrity. Entertainers, face painters and carnival booths, as well as local farmers’ market stalls will also ensure a great atmosphere and great family fund on the day.

The event starts at noon and family tickets, which give access to all games and activities, cost just €10 for MummyPages readers.
