With the June Bank Holiday weekend fast approaching, many of us are already starting to plan how we are going to make the most of the three days off work. 


So no matter where you are in the country, we have plenty of events here to get you through the weekend - why not try hit a few of them, if possible? A Bank Holiday challenge, perhaps? 


1. Bloom, Co. Dublin

2. Cork Harbour Festival, Co. Cork

Date: 4th – 12th June


Location: Cork harbour


Now in its second year, the annual Cork Harbour Festival will see 50 unique and fun-filled events happening across the Bank Holiday. Whether it’s for sailing, cycling or food that you’re into there's plenty happening. Click here for more info


3. Féile an Spidéal Regatta, Co. Galway

Date: 4th - 5th June 


Location: Spiddal


If it’s boats you’re into, the Féile an Spidéal will be showing only the best during the Regatta. From unique Irish boats, such as currachs and Galway Hookers to traditional boats this will truly be a sight for sore eyes. Click here for more info



4. The Melting Pot Festival, Co. Donegal

Date: 3rd – 6th June


Location: Ardara


An eclectic mix of music, song, dance, food, workshops, exhibitions and displays will be celebrated over four days in the village of Ardara. Click here for more info.

5. The Cat Laughs Comedy Festival, Co. Kilkenny

Dates: 2nd- 6th June


Location: Various venues around Kilkenny City

6. The Doonbeg International Jazz Festival, Co. Clare
