Downton Abbey actor Allen Leech and his wife Jessica are set to hear the pitter-patter of tiny feet very soon. The couple announced Jessica’s pregnancy at the Downton Abbey premiere last night.
As they walked down the red carpet, the mum-to-be proudly showed off her growing baby bump. Jessica is already five months pregnant so they’ll be welcoming their first born early next year.
Allen, who plays the charming Tom Branson in Downton Abbey, couldn’t help but gush about his growing family.
He spoke to MailOnline about Jessica’s pregnancy, “It's very exciting. I’m not getting any younger, Jess is but we just decided let’s give it a shot."
"She is absolutely blooming. She is five months pregnant today. I'm nervous," the dad-to-be shared.
Allen and Jessica tied the knot in January of this year in a lavish ceremony at Alisal Ranch and Resort in California.
Huge congratulations to the parents-to-be. We couldn’t be happier for them.
The Downton Abbey movie is out on September 13.
