Huge congratulations are in order for Operation Transformation’s Jean Tierney who has welcomed a baby boy.
The Limerick Leader confirmed the joyous news and said Jean gave birth to a son on the morning of September 4.
Her darling boy weighed a healthy 8lbs.
The new mum suffered harrowing losses before her son was born. The Operation Transformation leader had an ectopic pregnancy, a miscarriage and lost her baby daughter Sloane.
Sloane, who was born in January 2018, had a heart defect which meant the veins going into her heart were going in the wrong way.
Jean captured the hearts of the nation after sharing her moving and devastating story, but she got her happy ending after all.
The mum ended up leaving the show in week six when she discovered she was expecting.
We’re thrilled to hear both Jean and her baby boy are doing well. We can’t wait to find out his name!
