Huge congratulations are in order for Bernard O’ Shea who has become a dad for the third time.
The comedian confirmed the arrival of his third child in the most touching Instagram post. Bernard posted a photo of his newborn son’s tiny hand. He captioned the snap: “And then there was three in the family #anotherboy”
The dad-of-three confirmed his son was born in the Coombe Hospital, Dublin.
The Breakfast Republic host and his wife Lorna are overjoyed by the arrival of another baby boy.
The presenter is also a dad to son Tadgh and daughter Olivia. There’s no doubt the siblings will be thrilled to be spending Christmas with their new baby brother.
Bernard has yet to confirm the name of their latest bundle of joy but he did previously joke that he would call him Frank in honour of Pope Francis’s visit to Ireland earlier this year.
Fans were quick to congratulate the former Dancing With The Stars contestant. The comment section of the photo was flooded with congratulatory messages.
One wrote: “Aww congratulations to the growing O'Shea family! And well-done to mammy. Ah the wee hair on him like his daddy.”
“Well now you can bring the name Bernard back, baby Bernard or Bernard óg,” another suggested.
One commented: “What a lovely Christmas present, now you have to cook all the Christmas dinner and leave your wife alone.”
