Mayim Bialik
Bialik, who is famous for her roles in hit TV shows 'Blossom' and 'The Big Bang Theory' became very vocal about her opinions of the TIME magazine cover. Bialik thought that the image sent the wrong message and that the magazine "sensationalized" attachment parenting. The actress, who wrote a book on attachment parenting entitled 'Beyond the Sling: A Real-Life Guide to Raising Confident, Loving Children the Attachment Parenting Way' said in an interview with CNN "Just to clarify: attachment parenting takes no stance on how long you should breastfeed. The notion is to educate people about breastfeeding. I breastfeed my 3-year-old because he's not done breastfeeding, and I'm not ready to tell him not to. ... [I]t is still a tremendous source of discipline, and of bonding, that occurs between a mother and a child."

Bialik posted this photo on her blog of her breastfeeding her 3-year-old son on the subway.
Jerry Hall
This photo of Jerry Hall was taken by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz and is featured in Leibovitz’s book entitled “Women.” Here Hall is breastfeeding Gabriel, her son with Mick Jagger. The photo caused a bit of stir at the time as it was not considered to be 'nurturing' or 'loving'.
Miranda Kerr

Julie Bowen
