Cool Planet Experience is Ireland's first interactive journey to discover the facts about climate change.
Through fun holographic videos, immersive gaming and competitions, workshops and more, learn all about our planet and how to protect it from the damage it's already suffering.
Located up at the beautiful Powerscourt grounds in Co. Wicklow, it's an undeniably educational excursion which is well worth a family day out.
Cool Planet Experience are hosting a 'stomp-rocket' building workshop for the bank holiday weekend, and it's set to be a great event.
The exciting workshop is for girls and boys aged six up until 12 years of age, and will be held this Saturday, Sunday and Monday, June 1 to 3.
Your kids will have an incredible learning experience making stomp-rockets that can shoot 50m high into the air.
The rockets work by converting stored energy trapped air in a 2 litre bottle, which converted into moving energy by applying pressure (stomping on the rocket).
Kids will also find out about the links between climate change and energy, for example how energy storage and conversion can deliver clean and free power which could potentially fuel the whole world.
Bring your little ones to the hour-long sessions, which will divide the groups into younger and older participants, and will take place at 11am and 1pm this weekend.
You can also take a wonderful tour of the ground-breaking Cool Planet Experience before or after the workshop, which is also an hour long.
Children under seven go free for this tour, and a child ticket is just €5.50. Adult prices are €9.50, so it won't break the bank to learn all about climate change and sustainable living for the sake of our world.
Tickets cost just €10 per child and you can buy them on Cool Planet Experience's website here.
