Coronation Streets Mikey North and wife Rachael reveal babys gender

Coronation Street actor Mikey North may be involved in one of the show’s darkest storylines at the moment, but his real life is brighter and happier than ever.

The actor, who plays Gary Windass on the soap, is set to welcome his second child with his wife Rachael in the coming months. The soon-to-be dad-of-two revealed the gender of their unborn baby in an interview with OK!

Mikey and Rachael confirmed that they’ll be welcoming a baby girl into their family and their son Archie is very excited about it. There’s no doubt he can’t wait to become a big brother.

The Coronation Street star said their son Archie has even helped them pick out their daughter’s name.

“We’ve just moved house and put the name on the wallpaper that Rachael has chosen. Archie wouldn’t let us call her anything else anyway, so he partly chose the name, but we’re keeping it a secret,” Mikey shared.

The parents couldn’t help but praise Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who also have a baby boy named Archie.

They added, "They’ve got great taste! When Archie was a little bit younger, whenever Prince Harry came on the TV, he always said: ’There’s Daddy!’"

Both Mikey and Rachael have agreed that they won’t have anymore children once their daughter is born. They believe having two kids is perfect.

“I would be highly surprised if we had any more. Two is a great number,” the actor gushed.

We are so excited to find out what name they have picked for their little girl. We’re sure Archie chose a lovely name for his baby sister.
