It has been a momentous few weeks for her, with her final Coronation Street scenes moving the masses to tears, but this week is all about Paula Lane’s new baby.
The actress has finally introduced her little one to the world – and revealed the tot’s name – in an exclusive photo shoot and interview with OK! magazine.
In the cover shot, Paula and husband Tom cuddle up with newborn Penny Grace along with their eldest child, 19-month-old son Arthur.
In the accompanying interview, 30-year-old Paula shared the details of her ‘perfect’ water birth with baby Penny.
“We hired a birthing pool. This time I felt like I’d really cleansed the room. Everything just seemed right,” she said.
The star added: “Arthur’s birth was magical but it was traumatic. This time around was the polar opposite. I felt so in control and really calm…I’m not saying it was easy, but it was the perfect birth.”
Paula welcomed Penny on 28th July, just a week after her Corrie character Kylie Platt was killed off.
