Is it teething time for your little one?

A trip to the beach is one of the most fun outings for the family to enjoy during the summer holidays. While the classic beach activities always go down well, here’s a fun idea for your little one to (literally) make their mark at the seaside!

What you will need:

  • Flip-flops
  • Coloured foam
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Pen or pencil

What to do:

  1. Take some coloured foam and, with your pencil or pen, outline the shapes that you want to stamp into the sand.
  2. Carefully cut the shapes out – this can be quite intricate, so make sure to do it yourself, or assist your little one.
  3. Add a dab of glue to the foam and stick it down onto the sole of the flip-flop. Add on as many shapes as you wish.
  4. Once the shapes are secure on the flip-flops, pack them into your beach bag and let your little one go wild creating shapes in the sand.
