David Beckham banned from driving for six months after using phone behind wheel

David Beckham has been banned from driving for six months after he was caught using his phone behind the wheel of his car.

The dad-of-four appeared in court this morning. He had previously pleaded guilty to the offence after a member of the public spotted him using his phone while driving his car.

The sportsman has been banned from driving for six months and was fined £750. He has also been given six points on his licence.

The dad appeared in front of Bromley Magistrates’ Court this afternoon.

David previously avoided prosecution on a speeding charge because of a technicality.

He also avoided an eight-month driving ban in 1999 when he argued that he was trying to escape from the paparazzi.
