Sometimes we all need a little reminder that we are doing a great job.

Did your kids wake up this morning?
Are they healthy?
Have they eaten?
Have they clothes on their backs?
A roof over their heads?

Then that's all that matters.

It doesn't matter if they've just spent two weeks in Spain or the whole summer in the back garden.

It doesn't matter if they went to summer camp or as far as the park. It doesn't matter if they got a cone from the ice cream van or a lolly from the freezer.

None of it matters.

So stop beating yourself up!
Stop worrying!
Stop over thinking!
Stop feeling guilty!

You are keeping them safe from harm, protecting them from the big bad world until they are old enough to take it on themselves

Right now while they are young and full of wonder all they need is your love.

Because where there is love, there is happiness. And there is nothing in the world better than happy kids.

You're doing great!
