Easter Eggstravaganza at Westport House, Co. Mayo

Its the first event in a great new season of dlr events and a celebration for all the family of all things Easter! The Easter Bunnies are in training right now at a secret location, learning how to set up the Easter Trail. This crack team of egg laying rabbits will deliver their Easter eggs and trail clues to the Mad Hatters Tea Party early on Easter Sunday and your job is to follow the Easter Trail clues, claim your egg and join in the Tea Party.

Easter Egg-Stravanganza at Dublin Zoo, Co. Dublin

 

When:  Sunday 5th and Monday 6th April, 

Times: From 11am 

Where: Dublin Zoo, Phoenix Park

Cost: Admission to the Zoo

 

You're invited to take part in the annual Easter Treasure Trail, which will keep visitors of all ages entertained as clues will be hidden all around the Zoo. The Easter bunny will be the star guest at the Bunny Hop disco, which will take place on the Great Lawn. There will also be festive keeper talks along with arts and crafts.

Easter Egg Trail at Fota House, Co. Cork

 

WhenFriday, 3rd and Saturday, 4th April

Times: 10am to 4pm.

Where: Fota House, Co. Cork

 

The annual Easter Egg Trail at Fota House will take place but this year the gardens of Fota House will be transformed into the magical world of Alice in Wonderland.  This is to celebrate the 150th year of Lewis Carrolls fairytale book, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Children will follow the map around the gardens taking them down the rabbit hole, visit the Queen’s croquet ground, take a picture at the tree of mirrors, run the caucus race and ponder which road to take at the many crossroads. The trail will end at the amazing Mad Hatters Tea Party in the Victorian Frameyard Garden.  There’ll be lots of surprises along the way with strange and wonderful creatures on the route.

The fun-filled event will take place from 12:00  - 3:00pm and there will be an Easter egg for all participants.
