If you are planning on going to a Halloween party this October or dressing up for the trick or treat run, now is the time to start thinking about what you can go as.
If you are looking for something simple, that doesn’t involve you having to go out and buy expensive make-up or face paint then this skeleton look is perfect.
What you’ll need:
- Loose powder, preferably a pale shade or talc
- Black and gold eyeshadow
- Black eyeliner
- Black mascara
- Highlighter
Method:
- Mattify your face using your loose powder until it has a ghostly effect. You can bring it right down over your neck if you like.
- Lightly dust both eyes with gold eyeshadow.
- On one eye, use your black eyeshadow to create a rectangular shape that goes up over your eyebrow. Go around the outline with the black eyeliner to make it stand out.
- Layer on the mascara to create dramatic, heavy eyes, and put it on both the top and bottom lashes.
- Use your eyeliner along the lower lid to create extra definition.
- Go around your mouth with the black liner, colouring in your lips with the pencil.
- At each of the corners of your mouth draw a line right out to the middle of your cheeks. Draw three vertical lines as above.
- Rub highlighter along the bridge of your nose and dab a little onto your cheeks.
- Finish off the look by painting your nails with a black polish.
