Fans of Emmerdale have been sharing their delight for Chelsea Halfpenny and James Baxter as the couple have welcomed their first child into the world together.
Congratulations are in order for Chelsea, who is known for formally playing Amy Wyatt on the soap, and James, known for his previous role as Jake Doland, as they have announced the birth of their baby girl.
Sharing an adorable black and white photo of the bundle of joy’s feet to Instagram, Chelsea revealed her daughter was born a few weeks ago.
The 31-year-old is yet to reveal her daughter’s name with the world but captioned the post, “The best thing that’s ever happened to us arrived a couple of weeks ago, and she’s absolutely class”.
“The little love of our lives!”, she concluded.
Many fans of the soap stars rushed to the comments to congratulate them on their beautiful baby girl.
One fan said, “Congratulations she’s absolutely amazing, can’t wait to watch her grow yous will be the best parents”.
“Congratulations and enjoy this chapter of your life”, penned a second fan of the acting duo.
Another added, “Congratulations, take care and much love to you all. Best feeling in the world”.
Many other soap stars also wished the new parents well with their baby girl.
Casualty actress Amanda Mealing penned, “Oh my goodness, congratulations babe. You will both be amazing parents. SO much love to you all!!!”.
Emmerdale star Laura Norton also commented to say, “Just over the moon it’s going to be the best looking , funniest child on the planet, love you clever lady”.
Chelsea and James, who got engaged in 2021, announced they were expecting a little one together back in April when the actress shared a snap of her blossoming baby bump and revealed, “As if renovating a house wasn’t enough, we’ve decided to grow a baby at the same time!”.
