Escape to the Forest: Center Parcs shares their deals for the summer

It's the summer of the staycation here in Ireland and we're so ready to get away from our home and explore our gorgeous island.

One place at the top of our list is the wonderful Center Parcs Longford Forest.

They will finally re-open on July 13 and are eager to welcome guests back this summer. There is still time to book a short break in the Midlands so why not get planning?

Demand for a Center Parcs break is high and there is limited availability for the summer months but there is some last minute availability for breaks starting between July 13 and 24.

Initially, the village will open without the Subtropical Swimming Paradise and breaks have been discounted to reflect this. However, for those looking for a change of scenery and acres of woodland to explore, Center Parcs offers the perfect opportunity. As well as the beautiful forest setting – home to deer, red squirrels and pine martens – there will be a range of indoor and outdoor activities on offer, as well as a number of restaurants and takeaway services.

Each family will have their own lodge, with self-catering facilities, and Center Parcs has introduced enhanced cleaning programmes and social distancing measures to ensure the safety of guests and colleagues.

To ensure social distancing can be maintained at all times, the number of guests on each break will initially be limited.

The following breaks will be discounted, as the Subtropical Swimming Paradise will not be open:

Monday 13 July to Friday 17 July

Friday 17 July to Monday 20 July

Monday 20 July to Friday 24 July

Friday 24 July to Monday 27 July

Short breaks start from €759 for a weekend (three night) break in a two-bedroom Woodland Lodge (sleeping four). For more details, visit centerparcs.ie.
