With the weather starting to pick up, why not enjoy a family day out in the great outdoors?
Fota Wildlife Park in Cork is the perfect place to spend a Saturday with the kids, and starting this weekend, they’ll be running their Poetry Trail.
Running from April 8 to April 27, the Poetry Trail will encourage visitors to enjoy some family-friendly poems about the animals and trees in the park.
Get a map with your ticket and you’ll also be getting a selection of prize-winning poems from Poetry Day Ireland and Fota Wildlife Park Children’s Competition.
The trail maps are free, however there are admission prices for the park with family ticket prices also available.
