There's no doubting that Justin Timberlake is well off, but just like the rest of us the singer knows JUST how expensive kids are. Like really expensive.

The Cry Me a River hitmaker, who welcomed his first child with wife Jessica Biel last year, was talking about his motivation to head back into the studio to work on his fifth album when the doting dad admitted that son Silas was one of the reasons.

“You've got to pay for those expensive toddler clothes," he jokingly said while speaking on Australia’s Today show.

"They cost more than my clothes!”

Yes, he was joking... but this isn’t the first time the singer has said that his 19-month-old son has been an influence in his work.

The 35-year-old previously said that his youngster was the inspiration behind Can’t Stop The Feeling, a song he admitted he’d struggle to write if he wasn’t a dad.

"I don't know that it was directly inspired to be something that my son could listen to of mine, because there's a lot of music he can't ... at least not yet ... [but he was an influence]," Justin said.
