Niamh is a Nutrition and Lifestyle coach, and Director of The Wellness Clinic ( She is also a mother-of-three, living in the Dublin suburbs.

Niamh is passionate about helping mothers prioritise themselves, and developed Ireland's first self-care programme, 'URBANMAMA', to empower women to reach their full potential. Described as "life-changing" and "inspiring", this programme helps avoid burnout, taking you from losing the 'mum guilt', through eating and sleeping well; dealing with PMS and anxiety; understanding your menstrual cycle and fertility; balancing hormones; mindfulness tools; easy family recipes, and lots more. The next round of workshops begins in September 2017, in Dublin 4, and there is a free URBANMAMA Facebook support group for interested women to join, anytime.

Niamh facilitates self-care groups, and consults on wellness programmes with corporate clients. She delivers talks and also sees private clients in a clinic, in Dublin 8, or your workplace. She specialises in women's health; and believes if your hormones are in balance, your body and mind come into balance, too. Niamh advises on hormone-balancing diets and lifestyle practises, prioritising whole foods, sleep, and gentle daily exercise. Clients seeking weight loss programmes will find her holistic approach a welcome relief from calorie-counting and weigh-ins. Niamh believes there is more to weight issues than simple caloric intake, and she supports clients as they assess their stress levels and understand the reasoning behind their eating habits.

Niamh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (UCD), and a diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle coaching from the Institute of Health Sciences. She is a lifelong student of languages, fluent in Irish, French, Spanish and Italian, and is working on her Polish slowly but surely! The Wellness Clinic is her second business; she previously ran a theatre school for children, and is aware of the dilemmas both working and staying at home bring to mothers.

Niamh's relatable, non-judgemental approach and simple, effective steps to change appeal to her busy clients. She believes that small, healthy changes over time can go a long way to making a difference in your mental and physical health.
