There are some stories that just tug on our heartstrings, and that of Baby Weston and his great-great-grandmother Dorothy is one such tale.
The adorable pair have made headlines around the world this morning, with their heart-warming story of love and coincidence.
According to reports, Weston Alexander Heiser was born on Monday, 6th June – the exact same day as Dorothy Martell, 100 years previous.

Needless to say, one of the first people to meet the newborn tot was his great-great-grandmother Dorothy, who paid a special visit to the hospital on the day after their joint birthday.
Gushing over their bond, and describing Dorothy as an ‘inspirational’ person, new mum Alyssa explained to local media why the pair’s meeting was extra special.
“She lost her fourth son and she had two other deaths in her family at her age. So she was so happy to meet this little guy and celebrate life,” she said.
What a special moment for the entire family to treasure forever.
