It’s always a nice idea to personalise your home décor, and after sharing the baby handprint canvas craft idea, here is a lovely idea to get all of the family involved.

While we usually walk into a house to find baby’s handprints adorning the walls, why not include mum, dad and the siblings in the fun?

This family project could not be easier. All you need to do is get a selection of paints – one colour for each member of the family – and stack your handprints, one after the other.

Start with whoever has the biggest hand, then wait until their print dries before pressing the next handprint down on top of it, and so on.

Once dry, you are left with a stunning and special family portrait with a twist!

Tip: Work the colour scheme in with that of your sitting room, kitchen – whichever room you decide to hang your painting in – to make it match.
