My Bosch Athlet Ultimate proAnimal arrived yesterday. It was very simple to put together and to switch parts. It also looks very stylish. I placed it on charge last night to use this morning.

I have heard of the Bosch brand before however I wasn't aware they made vacuums. I don't currently have any other Bosch appliances in my house.

We currently have a corded vacuum. Not much thought went into buying it as we needed a vacuum at short notice. At the time it was affordable, had good suction power and was bagless.

The suction on this vacuum is fantastic. It's much needed as we had an extension built on to the back of the house and there is still gravel and sand outside which means it gets walked into the house. Our last vacuum sometimes didn't have the suction power to such up some of the bigger bits of gravel which is very annoying.

The battery life of 75mins is great as it means I can do the whole house in one session. The fact that it's cordless also makes for quicker cleaning time as I don't need to keep unplugging and moving sockets in each room. Then I can continue up the stairs without worrying if the cord will reach.

The easy clean system obviously makes life easier but it wouldn't be something I would be looking for when researching. I do like that because of the rotating Brush it means the dog hairs actually get sacked into the vacuum and don't just gather on the brushes (which is what happens with my current vacuum because the brushes don't rotate). At present this vacuum is on offer in Debenhams.ie for €268 which I think is a very reasonable price for this item. At full price it's listed at €350 which I don't think I would pay for a vacuum.

I liked the fact the head moves easily to get into corners etc. and the fact that the vacuum lies nearly flat to get under sofas and shelves. I felt it was a bit heavy on my wrist pushing it around (although I have a weak wrist). On the whole it's a lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and stylish looking product that I was delighted to get to trial. I've never been happier to clean my house. The fact that it has a strap to let you use it as a smaller vacuum for cleaning your car etc. is great.

I would certainly buy Bosch products in the future and would highly recommend them.

We have a busy household, there's me, my husband three children - age 3 months, 3 years and 6 years old... and also Layla the calico cat. As with any family, we have crumbs, dust, and cat hair etc...and with very little time to clean it all up every day or every few days. Since going on maternity leave from working fulltime, I've been home more to notice it all pile up in the corners of each room. I hadn’t used a Bosch vacuum before but was willing to give anything a go that would make life easier and cleaner for us all. We had a bulky Nilfisk and because it was so heavy to lump around and clean with, I wasn’t a fan of using it.

Now this sounds very 'Stepford Wives' but I genuinely enjoyed cleaning the floors with the Bosch, compared to other bulky, heavy vaccums that required much more time and effort to clean - the Bosch Cordless Animal was fantastic. With what little time I have when kids are at school or the baby is napping I want to make sure that the house is in order, clean and tidy but also that I get my own time to enjoy myself.

The cordless model meant that I could zip around the kitchen tiles (the main room used in our house) and tidy up breakfast crumbs quickly and effortlessly.... then enjoy a coffee. I could use different power levels depending on the circumstances - level 1 or 2 for a quieter clean if the baby was napping or level 3 for more intensive clean when the kids were outside.

It was lightweight, which meant my tired back from carrying a baby around all day, was not bothered as cleaned up evidence that messy children brought crackers into the playroom, and sucked up all the hair from the cat who lazes about on our living room rug all day.

The power and suction on tiles and wooden floors was great but I really felt the vacuum go to town on my carpets and rugs upstairs! I could feel its grip which was cool. The fact the battery lasted for 75 minutes was fab...I didn’t have to worry about finding plugs behind furniture as I went from room to room and it charged nicely stowed away overnight. That was huge to me. Plus, it was quite satisfying to see the results when I emptied the vacuum after cleaning - bonus it could be emptied directly into the wheelie bin outside and I didn’t need to get more bags for the vacuum.

The attachments are great for converting the vacuum into a car cleaning device or for getting in small areas like under the fridge or under a radiator.

It was really easy and straightforward to use... the instructions are all visual and it’s pretty intuitive. This all saves precious time when you'd rather be with your kids, instead of battling with a vacuum and spending too long cleaning the house. I'd highly recommend this product to all mums.

Delighted to get the chance to try out the Bosch GL 40 Animal. It is a super vacuum cleaner. It is so lightweight and easy to move around, even doing the stairs was quick and easy! It is so effective for pet hairs on hard and carpeted floors and the extra attachments (there are 5 in total) mean you can clean upholstery and tiny spaces with it too!

As well as the lightweight design it is so much quieter than other vacuums and has a minimum setting that has a really low volume - good for sleeping babies or people who are sensitive to noise! I have both in my house, my five month old baby who naps twice a day and I must use this precious time to get much needed housework done! And my poor old dog who used to get very agitated by the noise of my previous vacuum cleaner.

The Bosch GL 40 Animal also has an extendable handle, a retractable flex and gives a really deep clean. In fact, I thought my carpets were clean before I used this vacuum, the difference is unbelievable. Most of all, I love the quieter volume and just how easy and light it is to manoeuvre around the house. This is so important to me as my back is definitely not what it used to be after three children!

I was delighted to be chosen to try out the Bosch Animal 360.I couldn't have picked a more perfect vacuum for my house considering I have a cat with long hair and a dog it's almost impossible to get all the hairs cleaned up.

I had heard of Bosch brand but had never used any of their products. I used to use a cordless vacuum as found it easier than having to use an extension lead but with Bosch animal 360 I found it had a long cord so was need for extension lead :)

I was amazed at the powerful suction, dual turbo brush and ease the vacuum was able to pick up the hairs whether on the hard floors or on the rugs. :) It's very easy to use and only takes me a fraction of the time to clean my house now.

I loved the fact that the Bosch animal 360 could still give deep clean even if the bag was almost full which is very useful for when you have busy life and don't always remember to empty the bag :) The adjustable floor tool was ideal to give my wooden floors an extra powerful clean which is badly needed with muddy paws constantly! My children are delighted with the super quiet vacuum no more rude interruptions to their TV watching!! As most of my family suffer from allergies the washable HEPA filter is ideal. The Bosch animal 360 is so easy to use, store and keeps clean making it perfect for a busy household. Going on the super performance and ease of use of the Bosch animal 360 I will definitely be checking out more products of the Bosch brand and if other Bosch appliances are half as good as this vacuum I certainly will be checking them out. :)

I would highly recommend the Bosch animal 360 to my family and friends; I can give my home a deep clean in a fraction of the time :)
