Wonderful to get to test these out – I have heard of them before, but hadn’t had to use them until now as my little one this time is just killed with teething. She has every symptom going – the big red cheeks, never ending drools, chewing on every single thing, bad nappies and sometimes a temperature. It’s definitely a tough time for her.
We always keep a few teething toys in the fridge for when things are rough for her, but now having the gel and granules as well, we’re delighted. And they’re really handy to pop in the bag when you’re heading out for a bit.
Using the gel first gives her a good instant relief hit, and she will calm right down.
The granules are brilliant too – they also offer instant relief, but in a different way, she enjoys chewing on the granules, which gives a bit extra comfort.
Really and truly though, I found both of them very good, very easy to use and very effective.
I wouldn’t’ be without them, and I would definitely recommend.

Firstly, many thanks for selecting me to take part in this trial. My eleven month old baby is having many a bad day and night cutting teeth and trying out the Nelson’s Teething Granules and the gel was worth a shot. My baby showed all the usual signs of teething – rosy red cheeks, hands in the mouth and was generally in bad form. I decided to try the granules. I will admit it takes a few attempts to get used to administering the granules but I am definitely better now than the first time. I actually found giving small amounts on a baby spoon worked best. My baby girl loved the taste almost immediately. It was quite remarkable how much the sachet seemed to calm her down. These are a great homeopathic option for teething gums.
I also tried the Nelson’s teething gel and have been using it on and off when necessary. I decided to keep the gel in the fridge to keep it nice and cool for my little one. When needed, I used a clean finger to apply to my baby’s affected gums and once again it seemed to sooth her pain. It was great to see she felt some relief. I intend to always have one or the other of these in the cupboard.
If I were to pick a favourite, I would probably choose the granules. They seemed to give almost instant relief which lasted quite a while. My baby girl definitely prefers the granules. Of course, the sachets are so easy to take with you for when you are out and about. As well as that, I found that if I opted for either the Nelson’s gel or the granules, I wouldn’t always need to give Calpol or Nurofen which was a great thing. They definitely relieved my baby girl’s symptoms which is the main thing and it’s quite extraordinary when she sees me coming with the sachet she seems to even calm down. I would recommend these products to anyone with a small baby since teething is a given. In fact, I might go as far as to say the Nelson’s products were a godsend.

I had heard of Nelsons Teetha Granules prior to this trial as my sister used them with my niece and nephew who took them easily and without fuss. I did not realise they also made a gel and had recently bought another brands teething gel for my son. If I was aware of the gel, I would have bought it as I like the idea of sticking with one brand / set of ingredients, especially if they work. My son took easily to the gel and I will definitely purchase it again following the trial (he’s 9 months old, has been teething badly for the last 2 months but still no sign of any teeth cutting through yet).

The results are pretty instant after using the products. Initially my son disliked the granules as they seemed to cause him to cough and a few times we spilled them outside his mouth while trying to administer them but once we got the hang of it and he realised the relief he received from them he started opening his mouth when he saw the white packet in our hands. The gel was very easy to use however my son appeared to get better / quicker relief from the granules.

My son suffers from reflux (on prescription medication) so the fact that the products are natural was a real bonus as we didn’t have to worry about any interactions and it didn’t cause his reflux to flare up. When you have a young baby, it is very reassuring to know the products you are using are natural. It is something I look at when buying products for my son eg: body wash, weaning food, etc. if there’s an option to buy all-natural products I will. I try not to give my son medications for pain relief if I can avoid it and use homeopathic remedies myself so it’s great to have a homeopathic option to use with him.

My son has shown all the classic signs of teething – hot rosy red cheeks, dribbling, nappy rash, biting down on fingers and toys, etc. I found he got the most relief from the Teetha granules if I could get them into him at the first signs of teething. This is also when he was the most co-operative.

It’s very handy that one granule sachet is one dose. When your baby is upset and you are feeling flustered it’s great to not have to start measuring dosages, etc.

I have already recommended the products to friends with young babies and shared some of the granule samples with one friend for her to try with her daughter.

I used both these products on my last baby and I would not be without them now on baby no.2. Super to have them in the press at home and in the nappy bag when out an dabout.

I was aware of the products prior to having children myself from my sisters, she always relied on them.

Once my little one showed signs of teething (being irritable, crying easily), red cheeks, chewing on things, and excessive drooling - I had them on hand.

I found that she got great relief instantly, but she also seemed calmer for longer. I would not have found the same calming effects from other gels I have used.
I find the granules brilliant too. At this point as soon as she sees the sachet she knows exactly what's happening.

They're very easy to administer too, as is the gel. I wouldn’t be without them. I highly recommend them!

Having not been able to give my first child Teetha granules due to a cows milk protein allergy I was eager to try them with my daughter as I had heard great things. While teething she would be quite unsettled in herself, upset and wanting to be up in my arms all the time. Having given her the Teetha, which she loved to see coming, she would definitely be calmer and I would definitely think she got some pain relief from it. Teetha was particularly handy as she doesn't like syringes and it's really easy to use. I would definitely recommend it to other mums and also find the pricing very reasonable as teething can go on for quite a while!
