I have always been a loyal customer of the Sure range of aerosols and roll-on deodorants and I was delighted to be selected for this trial. I think it was an innovative and clever idea to develop a smaller sized compressed aerosol can which is just as effective as the larger one. Given how frequently I use aerosol sprays, I could end up buying them every 2 weeks or so. If they are on special offer (I always check!), I will buy in bulk. Before the trial, I had not heard of the new compressed cans before nor had I used them before so I was interested to see whether they would suit me.

I received both a normal sized can (250ml) and the new compressed can (125ml) in the delightful Cotton Fresh fragrance. Having used it daily for over a week, I was very impressed with the results. Firstly, the small can is a super-convenient size, perfect for use at home or on the go as it’s handbag-friendly and takes up less room in the gym bag too. I loved the stylish shape of the can which is comfortable to hold in the hand as it is curved in the centre. The best thing about it is that it really does offer the full 48 hour protection against odour and wetness just as it promises, so it’s every bit as good as the larger can when sprayed for the same length of time and there is no compromise on performance. I noticed no difference at all in the feel of the spray on my skin although I actually found it easier to actually use the spray itself on the smaller can. For some reason I find the structure of the spray part on the bigger can fiddly and hard to spray. The smaller can has a lid and just a push button which worked better for me.

As the product is aimed towards women, perhaps a more feminine packaging could be developed as with so many options, it needs to stand out on the shelf. Maybe a big splash of colour or a flower or butterfly or other pretty design? Another idea might be to develop a catchy slogan to use for the product? I think that the appearance could be improved slightly. The can I received was just plain white and unlikely to make a big impression on potential new customers and could get lost on the shelves in the supermarket. One suggestion I would have would be to maybe sell them in a multipack of 2 or 3 with a discount and what about introducing an even smaller pocket-sized can – would that be possible I wonder?

I am very keen to find out the price difference between the regular and the compressed size. Since they both use the same Motion-sense technology and offer the same protection benefits, I can’t imagine there is much difference. Will the customer benefit from a reduced price due to the less packaging required or will we have to pay more for the clever idea? I’d be happy to pay the same for the convenience and the fact that the reduction in packaging makes it a more environmentally friendly product is certainly very appealing to me.

Most women lead hectic lives these days with work, family, exercise and more. I think a good aerosol spray is a must. We all want to feel comfortable, fresh and confident for the day and don’t want the extra stress of having to worry about odours or wetness. Overall, I am now a big fan of these new smaller, smarter cans. It was interesting to read how the result is achieved - by only using ½ the gas, 25% less packaging is required. The biggest surprise to me was to learn that if all the 3 billion aerosol deodorants sold every year were compressed, we could save 21,000 tonnes of aluminium – enough to make 10 million bikes – wow! With the huge growth in the popularity of cycling in recent years, that’s something worth thinking about…….

I had recently seen the adds for the new Sure Compressed anti-perspirant and was keen to try it so when I got the oppurtunity to take part in this trial I was delighted. I have always used Sure Anti-perspirants these being the larger sizes so was interested to see would it last just as long as the larger size. I started using it straight away once I recieved it. First thing I noticed in comparison to the large can was the grip where you place your finger to spray the can. It was much easier to use than the larger can. Its a rubbery grip so your finger doesnt slip,I found this very useful after I had exercised and my fingers were somewhat sweaty because its a larger grip than the tall can. The shape of this bottle is great too. Again providing a great grip for when your on the go.
The scent of Cotton Dry is so nice. Especially after you,ve showered. It keeps you feeling very fresh and you feel dry for the day. Rushing around on school runs,shopping etc.. I brought it everywhere with me as it was so convenient to just leave it in my bag. It is very light considering it works and lasts just as well as the larger can.
I loved that this anti-perpirant is very environmentally friendly and because of this I will definetly be buying it from now on. I would love to see this powerful little anti-perspirant get the more WOW design that it deserves. I found the design very bland. This little guy needs to stand out and catch peoples attention. An environmentally friendly message on the front of the can would be a bonus for it as I imagine people would be even more in favour of it.
I have no hesitation recommending this super long lasting,environmentally friendly,Sure Compressed anti-perspirant to everyone. I myself will be purchasing it from now on. Many thanks for the oppurtunity to have taken part in this trial. :) xx

I have always loved the Sure deodrants, as a dancer i need something that works and also handy to carry in my bag when going to class and out with the kids. When i was asked to take part in the testing i was delighted as I wanted to see if the compressed bottle really did last as long as the large bottle. I received the 250ml and the 125ml can in the post and immediatley starting using it .
Firstly on the look of the cans beside each other the compressed can is so much handier. Fits into my handbag for work , dancing and also put it in the baby bag when heading out with the kids. I found it to be a very fresh smell and when spraying the can under my arms it felt the exact same as the smaller can. It offers great protection as i used it before starting dancing and was odourless after a 60 minute intense class.
I think with the product changing itself maybe a new design would stand out a bit more on the shelves. It has lasted me just as long as the large can as i have sprayed one on each armpit each day just to make SURE!
I will most definitely be buying this product and will be recommending to all my dancing friends x

hi ive always uses Sure for Years ecpecially the roll on as the size is so handy,i was delighted to be asked to do the trial for the sure deorderoant,,so could not wait to try it

So i got the delivery so excited and to my delight i recived the cotton fresh 250ml and the 125ml cotton fresh compressed,,size wise perfect can use it on the go and the smell is devine can fit in a handbag wich us girls all need it,,it def holds the 48h as it say not like most brands,

Also i notice it doesent stain ur clother eith wich is perfect and does not sting when u just after shaving under ur arm,And that i love

Firstly thanks for the opportunity. I dont have a brand of deodorant that I stick to. I tend to but whatever is on offer which meant occassionally buying Sure. I had heard of the compressed aerosols but hadnt used them. I am now converted. Since having my last child perspiration has been an issue - but it hasnt been since starting this trial. It certainly is lasting as long as the bigger bottle.

The only thing I didnt like about it was that I found it a bit overpowering when sprayed in the bathroom - it caught my breath and made me cough.

I would definitely buy the compressed Sure again as a result of this trial. It does the job and is a convenient size to fit in handbags / gym bags etc. Also the smell is refreshing and lasts all day

I would normally not be fussy as to what deodorant I would buy, it would come down to what was on offer and the best value. I tend to buy large aerosol deodorants and would normally buy one every three weeks. I had never used the compressed before this trial and am not 100% sure it would last as long as the large aerosol but too early to say yet. I definitely find the compact version much handier, fits easily into a handbag and also fits on a small shelf in the bathroom. I have a rheumatoid problem with my right arm and often experience pain in pressing the release button on an aerosol but haven't at all with the compact Sure so that is great and a definite plus for me. The spray also feels gentler which is good first thing in the morning! It's always a bonus when it's kinder on the environment too. Have checked and it is priced the same as the bigger can. There is absolutely no reason why I wouldn't buy it again but think I will still go for best deal on the day so hope Sure will have this on offer.

I was delighted to be chosen as a tester for the new Sure Compressed aerosol. I have been using the big can for years so was intrigued by the compressed version. I looked so small I was a bit sceptical about how long it would last. I find that there larger one lasts about 2-3 weeks so was expecting the small one to only stretch to two weeks max. However, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it actually lasts longer then the large can. I think that with the large can I tend to spray for longer but with the small can it is just one short burst. I had seen the compact can in the supermarket but did not feel inclined to try it as I thought it would not be very good value. Having tried it, I would find it difficult to go back to the big can.
The small can is very convenient and can be put in my everyday handbag without taking up too much space. It is easy to handle and use compared to the big can. It also seems more comfortable on than the large can. It spray is lighter so that I did not feel it on my skin at all once it dried. I note that it is kinder to the environment and I am pleased that this is the case but it is not really a very strong selling point for me.
I will definitely buy the compact can in preference to the large can as long a the price is competitive. I would be prepared to pay a small premium but not too much. Thank you for introducing me to this innovative and nicely designed product.

Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this trial. I loved the packaging of the box - it felt like Christmas had come early when it landed on my doorstep. When I opened the box and saw the size difference, I really didn't believe that it would last as long as my usual larger size Sure Deodorant. Well I was wrong, not only does it have the great qualities and favorite smell of my usual deodorant but it has the added bonus of fitting in all of my handbags, something that the larger can had proved difficult at times. Being able to bring it everywhere for the just in case moments means that I now have that added piece of mind. I am utterly amazed that it lasts the same amount of time and knowing I am helping the environment is the icing on the Cake. Well done to Sure for this great new product. I for one am converted and will be converting my friends too!

I was so delighted to have been chosen to take part in this trial. I started using the two aerosols when they arrived.

My first reaction was to the ease at which the smaller can was to use in terms of holding it and pressing the button. I found the larger can more ackward and a bit tricky. The lid on the small can is great, especially if little people get access to your handbag and start taking things out!

The colour scheme or design on both cans was a little bland and wouldn't catch your eye when you are in the shop. I did look in my local pharmacy and was surprised how easy it was to miss on the shelf. The price for the big and small can was the same, so that's great.

I love the size of the small can and I have carried it in my bag since I got it. It's so handy and neat. It's amazing how the size difference doesn't affect the volume inside.

There was no stinging when I used the spray after waxing like some brands do. There was also no staining on clothes. I didn't really notice any difference in the spray from either can.

I'll definitely use Sure Compressed again and the fact that it's kinder to the environment is a complete bonus.
