I would be familar with the Irish Pride brand. I would sometimes buy the white or the better with both. I personally love white bread but of course the other one is much better for you. Its good to know that the better with both is low in fat and sugar and a great source of fibre, which i would definately go for more so than the white bread. It is well advertised on the front of the bread packaging. I liked them both equally, i felt that the traditonal one was much fresher but the other one was lovely too. My little girl loved the better with both and my son loved the traditional one! so i nearly have to buy the 2 of them. I will definately buy Irish Pride again and thank you for letting me take part in this trial. :) I would definately recommend this to family and friends.

I am well aware of the Irish Pride Brand and their range of baked breads.
I do buy Irish Pride Better with Both on occasion as I like the idea of having the benefits of brown bread for the children and Husband who don’t like “brown bread”. I would often use the bread for the kids packed lunches. The kids also love toast in the mornings.
It’s a big plus that Better with Both contains no veg oil, low in fat and sugar and has a good source of fibre. These days we are all more aware of fat content of foods and also what additives may be in our food. Its good to know that Irish Pride have addressed this.
Its also good to know that the Sandwich pan is a good source of protein, is low fat and low sugar.
I preferred the traditional pan, the bread was softer and just tastes nicer. However as a mum I would still buy the better with both if given a choice for our family as I believe it’s a healthier option without losing too much of the traditional pan flavour and texture. The kids will eat the better with both and there are no complaints in the house. The crust is soft and the bread is soft. The white bread is just slightly softer, has a nice texture, it doesn’t break or rip apart when buttering. The traditional pan would be our favourite but better with both is a good substitute.
I will continue to use Irish Pride bread and would have no problem recommending either pan to friends and family.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to take part in this trial.

We love Irish pride bread in our house, my two girls tested the better with both bread for lunch at nursery and they even ate the crusts, which never happens with normal bread, we buy the white bread for lunches and toast in the mornings, we buy this one because it's tasty and always fresh and long lasting, I was very pleased to find out that the better with both sliced pan contains no hydrogenated vegetable oil and is low in fat and sugar and it's a great source of fibre, I was also pleased to know that the white sliced sandwich pan is a source of protein and is naturally low in fat and sugar, me and the children prefer the better with both sliced pan bread because it's tasty and better for you, I will buy both breads again And I would highly recommend both to my friends and family

Firstly, many thanks for letting me take part in this trial. As a bread mad house this was sure to be one we would all actively enjoy! Of course, I would be very familiar with the Irish Pride brand. It is the preferred brand in my own Mum and Dads house. I like to buy the Irish Pride hotdog rolls and the bunsters. When it comes to the bread the Better with Both was a huge hit with my children. They preferred it to the sandwich pan. My lot eat a lot of bread from toast to sandwiches for school and indeed at random times throughout the day. Its great to know that the Better with both has no veg. oil and is so low in sugar and fat. Even better that my children have converted to this for their school lunches. I suppose I dont always think about bread as a source of protein either. Might make me think more about the ingredients. I myself preferred the sandwich pan. Very tasty indeed. I definitely will buy these products again, I clearly will have no choice with my kiddies doing the shopping. Without any hesitation I will recommend to my family and friends. Irish Pride all the way!!!!

Thank you for selecting me to trial Irish Pride. Prior to this I would have been aware of the Irish Pride brand. We often buy the Irish Pride Big Toast as it is consistently fresh, tasty & has fine thick slices perfect for toasting. I am delighted to see the Better with Both bread contains no hydrogenated vegetable oil, is low in fat & sugar and is a great source of fibre. This information is clearly displayed on the packaging which is a great help in assisting you to pick a product that has better health benefits for your family. It's great to learn that the Traditional White Sandwich pan is a great source of protein & is low in fat & sugar which is again clearly displayed on the packaging.

I personally preferred the Better with Both pan as the combination of white & wholemeal is so tasty as well as the obvious health benefits. My daughter preferred the Traditional White Sandwich pan as it was very tasty, soft & appeared to be much fresher. I definitely will continue to buy the Irish Pride brand as well as the two products I tested. This brand I would certainly recommend to family & friends.

Have to admit - we are family of bread-aholics!!!! And we go through an aboslute load of it. I don't normally stick to one brand it's whatever is handiest so we try lots of different ones. Wad very happy to try Irish Pride and we LOVED it. Haven't actually tried the Better with Both type bread before and was pleasantly suprised, didn't think I'd like it but it was gorgeous. And the kids loved it too.
The white bread was yummy, always a hit in our house and I was very glad to see all the ingredients listed clearly, and surpised to know that the better with both had less sugar/salt, always a good thing.
Will buy again and would recommend.
Love that it's Irish too :)

I am a mom of three boys and bread is a staple in our house - in fact I imagine my kids reckon its a food group all of its own. We got the Irish Pride white sliced pan and 'better with both' pan as part of the group. Both were delicious. Everyone loved the white bread but also (unbelievably for me) the brown/white pan too. My younger kids are not so fond of brown bread but I think the colour of this pan was so light they didnt even notice - and I was happier that they were getting a bit of healthier wholmeal into them. We had toast - with every imaginable topping, toastie sambos, beans on toast and french toast. They served as breakfast, lunch, snacks and tea. The few slices remaining are going into stuffing for dinner tonight. These Irish Pride pans were great - Irish, fresh, tasty and 100% versatile. Loved them

Im usually not a white bread fan as im conscious of its nutritional contents in comparison to my usual linseed soya loaf! However, the Irish Pride traditional loaf was a big hit in our house even with me,especially when i realised its high protein content! It was so fresh and tasty that ive continued to buy it since the trial and that was the last thing i thought would happen with a white loaf! The freshness of the Traditional loaf and the Better with Both loaf was incomparable in my opinion. The traditional was so fresh that the better with both just felt dry. Being part of this trial gave me the chance to taste a brand i wouldnt normally buy and im glad i was part of it as Irish pride really impressed here and has become a staple in our weekly shop

Absolutely loved doing this trial - we are household of bread lovers so this one was right up our street.
I have to admit I don't normally buy Irish Pride, as I wrongly believed it was all the same. Let me tell you - it's not. the Irish Pride bread is gorgeous, the wholewheat one is differet to any other ones I've had, and tastes so much better.
The kids loved taking part too.
We are complete converts - we now only buy Irish Pride. Would recommend.

Thank you for selecting our family to take part in this trial - it was great fun, and we took it very seriously.
We normally buy our bread from a variety of ranges, including Irish Pride, but never really gave it much thought. While doing this test, we gave it great consideration and all agreed that we are very fond of Irish Pride bread and would put it ahead of others in a taste test.
As a mum I was very happy to know that the Better with Both contained no vegetable oil, was low in fat and sugar and is a good source of fibre and that the sandwich pan is a good source of protein, low fat and low in sugar.
We will be buying Irish Pride again - great to support an Irish product too.
Would recommend.
