Frankie Sandford has always been very open about her battle with depression in the past saying that she has suffered with depression since she was a teenager.

In 2011, she sought help for depression and has been an avid supporter of the Time to Change campaign that aims to reduce the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental-health.

The Saturday's singer has now revealed that her adorable baby son, Parker, has helped to keep her depression in check since his birth last October.

Though she was worried she would suffer with postnatal depression, she revealed that thankfully, having Parker around has actually helped her depression.

Frankie said: "I've got another purpose to life now. It's not just me. I want to be happy for Parker, I don't want to be down around him. It doesn't mean he's cured me or anything, but it gives me something else to think about."

The singer is engaged to footballer Wayne Bridge since April last year.
