When faced with news that we're expecting twins, we go through a huge range of emotions - excitement, fear, mild panic (it's normal!) and delight. But if you thought naming one baby was hard, try naming two! Even if it was identical twins or were both the same gender, it might make things easier, but when we have to name boy-girl twins, we get totally overwhelmed!
Finding names we like isn't the problem - it's finding names we like that fit together. Sometimes the sound or the way they roll off of the tongue just don't feel quite right. Picking a gorgeous traditional Irish name for the girl and then pairing it with a cool modern boy's name might work - but it also might not. These two names will be heard side by side for the rest of their lives, so it's important to get them right! Check out some of our favourite pairings below and see how they sound together - and whether they're right for you and your little ones!
