With little time to dedicate to their beauty regime, sleep can be a perfect time for mums to beautify themselves.

Night cream
Liberally apply night cream before you go to bed, making sure it is one suitable for your skin. If your budget doesn’t stretch to night cream, a simple day moisturiser can work just as well.  If possible, go for an anti-ageing one to plump up the skin and smooth wrinkles.

Don’t sleep on your face
When in bed try to sleep on your back. This will help prevent wrinkles and you won’t wake up with lines all over your face.

Tie up your hair
Oils from your hair can transfer onto your face causing breakouts. To stop this, pull your hair into a top knot but not too tight as you may cause split ends.

Take off your make-up
Make sure you always take off your make-up before you go to bed. Leaving it on will clog your pores causing breakouts and pimples.

Gel eye mask
Gel eye masks are great for reducing puffy eyes. Put one on in the morning and wake up with fresh looking eyes.
