The 8th annual Tattersalls International Horse Trials and Country Fair in association with Horse Sport Ireland takes place this June bank holiday weekend and is guaranteed to be a great weekend out for all the family.
 
Ireland’s premier international event runs this June Bank Holiday weekend in Ratoath Co Meath, (opposite Fairyhouse Racecourse) from May 30th to June 2nd 2013 and this year promises to be better than ever before, making it one of the top family friendly events of the summer. The event is not only guaranteed to be packed full of entertainment but is also pocket-friendly too, with entry for adult, starting at €5 while under 12’s go FREE.
 
This wonderfully popular event combines the highest standards of equestrian events with the hustle and bustle of a classic country fair. ‘Tatts 2013’ will play host to Irish and International competitors in three equine disciplines of dressage, cross-country and show-jumping over the weekend. There will also be a chance to see top Irish eventers and International Olympic medal winners as they compete in the horse trials while enjoying the festivities. Events include a hound parade, novelty dog shows, free vintage swing boats and Victorian style carnival rides.
 
The event promises to have everything you would expect from a traditional country fair with plenty of stalls selling country chic brands. Dog owners are welcome to bring their four legged friends with them so they can also soak up the atmosphere of the fair.

Tickets range from €5 for one day adult admission to €50 for a picnic pass (includes entry for 2 adults and 2 children). Public parking is free or there is the option to avail of priority parking for an extra €10.
