About: Glendeer Pet Farm is the award winning 12 acre park with over 50 species of animals. The farm provides a safe and fun environment for children of all ages and is situated right in the heart of Ireland. Glendeer Pet Farm is a wonderful place for a family day out and is both fun and educational. Children can interact with both farm and exotic animals, and are provided with a bag of food to feed the goats, sheep, emu, donkeys, cows, llama and many more.
Even if the weather is bad, Glendeer Pet Farm is still a great place to visit as lots of the facilities are undercover. You can visit the indoor farm pets, the indoor Skywalk play area and the coffee shop, so you won’t be short of things to do even when it’s raining.
Glendere Pet Farm also offers a peaceful nature walk in close proximity to the farm. This nature walk takes young and old on an adventure. Nature has turned this path into an interesting and character-filled walk as the various tree come together to form a cosy, cave-like path. This trail twists and turns unexpectedly around corners making it lots of fun. It is less than half a mile long so it more than manageable for little ones.
