The least likely thing to appear during an Irish summer is the sun, which is why mums are always prepared for rain when to comes to family days out.

Even if you’re indoors, you can still make some brilliant family memories - all it takes is a little bit of preparation.

Luas wants this summer to be one of the best ever for families in Dublin, which is why they've put together a list of activities that are fun for all the family and easily accessible by tram. With a different theme every week, you'll be sure to find something that suits you and your little ones.

This week, we'll be looking at all the fun things you and your family can do indoors during the summer months and there are no shortage of entertaining activities.

If you’re a budding golfer, Rainforest Adventure Golf in Dundrum Town Centre promises to improve your golfing technique in a fun environment. Open daily and with reasonable prices it’s a great day out for the whole family. And because it’s located in Dundrum Town Centre there are plenty of cafes and restaurants to dine in before or after your round of golf!

For those looking for something more energetic, Jump Zone and Imaginosity are just a short walk from Stillorgan Luas Stop. Jump Zone is the first indoor trampoline park in Europe where children ages 5+ can free jump, do tricks or take part in some of the main activities on offer, like Aerobics and Dodgeball.
If you prefer something a little more relaxed, Imaginosity is Ireland’s only interactive children’s museum. There are a myriad of rich interactive experiences to engage in, from meeting the Eco Badger up on the roof garden to making your way past the Wizard's Lair and the Rocket Ship to Rapunzel's Castle. It’s the perfect place for children who are looking for something totally different.
