Losing a child is one of the most devastating experiences a person can go through, and it can put a lot of things in perspective for the person who has suffered such a heartbreaking loss.

One woman who proved this recently is Natalie Morgan, who has shared the story of her daughter’s stillbirth to send an important message to the world.

Recalling her devastating experience in a now viral Facebook post, Natalie wrote: “My sweet, sweet Eleanor Josephine was born sleeping September 11th. I went to bed the night of the 10th, and she was kicking away. I woke up, and she wasn’t. I couldn’t find the heartbeat on the home Doppler. I knew. I just knew. I didn’t want to know…I wanted to be mistaken, but I knew.”

Natalie went on to urge parents everywhere to appreciate their blessings with their children, even in the most testing or stressful moments.

“Please just remember, while you’re awake at 3am because you have a baby in your arms keeping you up that late, I’m up at 3am because I don’t,” read her poignant message.

She added: “I would give anything in this world to have a baby spitting up on me, being colicky for all hours of the day and night, screaming, not letting me put her down, cracking my nipples from breastfeeding, keeping me up all night.”

Natalie’s post, which includes precious photos of her short time with baby Eleanor, has been shared hundreds of thousands of times on Facebook and has clearly touched the hearts of mums and dads all over the world.
