Oliver is just 15 weeks old.

His favourite thing is watching In The Night Garden and smiling.

His dad says he is slowly collecting all the characters teddies from the show.

He is a very happy little boy - but Oliver is also extremely poorly.

Within minutes of his birth, Oliver had difficulty breathing. He was rushed to the neo-natal intensive care unit where a number of scans and tests were carried out.

Doctors discovered a large mass inside the wall of his heart.

On the second day of his life, Oliver suffered two episodes of Ventricular Tachycardia and immediately needed to be sedated and shocked to bring his heart back into a normal rhythm.

He was finally diagnosed with a Cardiac Fibroma in the left ventricle wall of the heart. This means that he has a mass on the left side of his heart, which is larger than his heart itself. This type of tumour places Oliver at risk of threatening heart arrhythmias.

A month after he was born he suffered his third ventricular tachcardia where his heart was shocked back into rhythm. An experience which his parents describe as "heartbreaking to watch"

The type of tumour is extremely rare and the UK system cannot offer Oliver the operation he so badly needs. His parents have found a doctor at Boston Children's Hospital who can offer a glimmer of hope.  20 children presented with this condition and all underwent surgery there. All 20 patients survived the surgical removal of the tumour and were ventricular tachycardia free following surgery.

Oliver's parents are now trying to raise the funds to get the surgery for Oliver.  They have managed to crowdfund £4,000 out of the £200,000 they need to travel to Boston with their only child.

They say their beautiful son with the big heart deserves the chance of a long and happy life.
