IKEA has issued an urgent recall on baby bibs after a choking hazard was made known to them. They have urged customers to return the Matvra brand bibs, red and blue two-packs because there is a risk of the buttons falling off.
They stated, “IKEA takes product safety very seriously. All our products are tested and comply with applicable standards and legislation.
"In spite of this we have received reports that the press stud on the MATVRÅ bibs can come off and thus presents a choking hazard.”
They stressed that all customers will be given a full refund or a similar product.
A proof of purchase is not required.
