If, like the rest of us, you have been dreaming of long summer days and can’t wait to start planning garden parties and summertime events, then why not put your organisational skills to good use and support Down Syndrome Ireland while getting together with friends and family?

In order to raise awareness and funds for Down Syndrome Ireland, HB Hazelbrook Farm have launched the Ice Cream Fundays Campaign with the help of Lottie Ryan and Ivan Yates who urge you to throw an ice cream party over the summer months and donate the proceeds to this incredible charity.

The benefits of these parties cannot be underestimated and with funds going towards Down Syndrome Ireland’s nationwide support services for members and family as well as organisations, your efforts will not go unnoticed.

These organisations are unfortunately under resourced so your participation will help raise funds in areas such as Early Development, Education, Health, and Speech and Language Therapy, so why not throw a shindig which will put a smile on the faces of a whole host of people outside your guest list?

If you need any further proof that your summer party will have a lost lasting effect on those in need of support, Pat Clarke, Chief Executive of Down Syndrome Ireland said; “The HB Hazelbrook Farm Ice Cream Fundays Campaign is a fantastic and fun way of raising funds for our organisation. The support from both HB and the public means that we can maintain the level and quality of essential services that we provide to our members.”

We’ve never come across a better reason to indulge in a bowl of our favourite dessert, so don’t let it pass you by!
