Playing music at bedtime is another good idea, just make sure it’s soft, soothing music.

Playing music around the house, whether it’s the radio, a CD or an instrument, is another way to instil a love of music early on. It encourages bonding, and will have your child loving music for life! In fact, listening to music instead of watching TV is one of the best choices you can make!

Get your child a few musical toys. Even very young children love banging a drum or xylophone, and while they may not display talent at this age, it’s fun and a good developmental tool.
