Whether it’s a deer photo-bomb or a surprise proposal, we’re total suckers for a good baby photo shoot – and we think we may have just found our favourite one ever.

Katherine and Jesse Oldfield have watched their son Theodore become a viral internet sensation this week, after sharing his incredible and unique Harry Potter-themed photo shoot.

Obviously, the couple are both huge fans of the books and movies, and when first child Sebastian entered the world, they paid homage to ‘The Boy Who Lived’ in his first professional photo shoot.

When baby Theodore came along this year, however, they decided to get a little cleverer with the idea for his shoot – and found the perfect inspiration from Professor Sprout’s mandrake!

Fans will no doubt remember the Professor teaching Harry and co. how to pull the ‘mandrake babies’ from their pots, and photographer Kelsey from Lune de la Rogue Photography reckoned it would be a great scene to recreate.

Speaking to Buzzfeed.com, Kelsey said: “Dad started to pull Theodore out of the pot, he fussed a little, and poof! We had our magic moment!”

Of course, Sebastian had to reprise his role as Harry Potter for the shoot, and his addition to the photos is nothing short of magical!

We’re not surprised to see that this photo shoot has gone totally viral. Epic!
