Is it teething time for your little one?
If you are concerned that your children might not be getting all the important vitamins and minerals they need, then Irish Pride Bakeries has found a solution. They have completed a project to produce a bread that is packed with the vitamins and minerals children require for healthy growth and development.

Irish Pride Bakeries, a 100% Irish owned company is proud to announce the launch of Vita Kids, a new white bread loaded with the vitamins and minerals and essential omega 3 that kids need to keep them fit and healthy. No longer will mums have to hide veggies in food and disguise fish for their kids, because this new bread will deliver much of what children need for healthy growth.

The project was completed in association with some of Ireland’s leading nutritionists. Julie Dowsett commented “With the development of Vita Kids, Irish Pride has introduced a world class product, formulated to meet the nutritional needs of Irish children”.

Irish Pride Vita Kids is preservative free, has 25% lower salt and is a source of omega 3, folic acid, vitamin C, iron, calcium and vitamin D to help build healthy bones, blood and bodies.

Here is how Irish Pride Vita Kids is addressing the needs of Irish children:
  • 33% Irish girls and 20% Irish boys don’t eat enough calcium. 2 slices Irish Pride Vita Kids provides 11% of a child’s requirement for calcium
  • 13% Irish boys and 34% Irish girls do not eat enough iron. 2 slices Irish Pride Vita Kids provides 16% of a child’s requirement for iron.
