An Irish teenager is fighting for his life after falling from a wall in Puerto del Carmen in Lanzarote.
According to reports, the 15-year-old is in a critical condition after suffering severe head injuries.
It is believed the young man fell around 15 feet.
An emergency services spokesman commented: “The incident occurred in Avenida de las Playas in Puerto del Carmen just before 4am on Monday. The injured man was a male who in an initial evaluation at the scene, had a critical traumatic brain injury.”
The Department of Foreign Affairs are aware of the ‘freak accident’ and are offering consular assistance.
