The Department of Foreign Affairs has released a list of the most popular names on issued passports for Irish children aged three years-old and under.
Emily and Jack top the list as the most popular names on first passports while Irish names such as Niamh, Caoimhe and Oisín fall back into the top 20 names.
There were 600 passports issued for children under the name of Jack while, 455 were issued for those named Emily.
It's not all bad news for Irish names though as Aoife comes in at number three and Conor at number four.

Top 5 boy's names:
1. Jack
