Jervis Shopping Centre are hosting a Pirates day this Saturday

As every family knows, the summer holidays can be an expensive time. Schools are out, the kids are at a loose end and parents are tasked with keeping them entertained.

With that in mind, Jervis Shopping Centre, Dublin’s favourite family shopping centre, has been hosting the ultimate summer of fun with events every Saturday throughout July, with more on the way during August.. and the best part is, they’re free.

Each Saturday from 1-5pm, the family can enjoy a different themed event while enjoying the walk-about characters throughout the centre, balloon modelling and a host of different exciting elements each week.

This week, sail down to Jervis on Saturday, August 10 and discover a treasure trove of fun, games and adventures. There will be pirate shows, balloon swords, pirate themed face painting and don’t forget to get your picture taken in the giant guillotine.

Parents can take turns keeping the kids busy with the complimentary activities while they browse the 60 retailers Jervis Shopping Centre has to offer while keeping an eye out for special offers happening in several stores.

Some of the centres family favourites include B Cool Gadget Store, The Art N’ hobby Shop, Kiddies Kuts and the newly launched Japanese Lifestyle store Miniso which has an impressive toy and stationery selection.
