While she may have been part of one of the most successful girl groups of all time, there is one thing we share in common with Kelly Rowland: stretch marks.
The former Destiny’s Child singer, who gave birth to son Titan Jewell almost two years ago, has opened up this week about the not-so-welcome changes that pregnancy brought to her body.
In an interview with Allure magazine, the 35-year-old said: “I wish that someone would invent something to take away stretch marks and cellulite.”
“If you don’t have stretch marks and cellulite after you had a baby, I really don’t like you. It’s not fair,” she added.
Despite this, the Commander singer admitted that she has grown ‘comfortable in her own skin’, and a large part of that is thanks to making time for herself a priority.
“If you can’t take care of yourself, you don’t have anything else to give to anybody else. So, I’m my number one…I have to give something back to myself first before I can give anything to anybody else. I truly believe that,” she said.
Kelly and her husband, Tim Witherspoon, will celebrate Titan’s second birthday in November.
