They delighted fans of their hit show The Americans back in May, when they confirmed that they had welcomed their first child together, and Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys have finally shared the details!
Keri was in the Today studios this afternoon, for an interview with Matt Lauer, when she revealed the gender and name of her newborn.
The 40-year-old told the presenter that she and Matthew welcomed a baby boy named Sam almost two months ago.
“He’s so good. He’s big and fat and nice,” added the clearly besotted mother.
Although this is the first child for the couple, Keri is already mum to eight-year-old River and four-year-old Willa; her children with ex-husband Shane Deary.
Keri and Matthew met in 2013 on the set of their FX show, and went on to confirm their romance a year later. Their baby news was revealed in January.
